This footage is from opening day may 1st at Catfish Acres in Litchfield Mi "Home of Michigan's largest catfish. Our customers caught over 300 fish this day. The largest was 24 pounds. The largest fish ever caught at our lake is 76 pounds

Included in this video are highlights of our first ever Catfish Noodling Tournament held at Litchfield Outdoors Catfish Acres in Litchfield Mi. Jeremy Russ won the big cash prize and Ridge Tefft and Mike Lambright took the other two prizes. We will be offering a noodling tournament every saturday starting at 4pm the rest of the summer.

All 10 fish are over 60 pounds with the largest weighing in at 76 pounds. This video will show several fish in the 50-60 pound range

As far as I know we are the first facility to ever build a pond specifically for Noodling. We just opened it up this spring and this was one of the first nice catfish to get Noodled. The special noodle pond is full of catfish between 15-40 pounds. The pond is between 3-5 ft deep and has a lot of underwater structures for the fish to hide in.

We are looking forward to our 3rd year at Catfish Acres. The pond was just stocked with a huge amount of catfish and we expect the bite to be fast and furious, our opening day is Saturday May 1st. We also offer camping call us now to make a reservation.

The largest all time was caught in 2008 by Ken Hoyt, a blue cat weighing in at 76.5lbs.
